Online Scrip Ordering Information

Each member (other than out of area or over 85) is charged an annual fee (in 2023-24, it is $260) that can be paid via rebates on scrip (gift cards) purchased through the Temple.  The Temple purchases gift cards at a reduced rate.  You purchase these cards at face value.  The difference between the reduced rate and face value is what is credited to your account.  Here's how it works:

1. Purchase in stock cards at the temple office anytime.  We carry Shoprite, Stop & Shop, ACME, Kings, Target, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, AMC Movie, Dunkin Donuts, and Panera Bread. Feel free to suggest others you would like us to carry.

2. If you wish to order a card not in stock, visit one of our two vendors. At each, there are various payment methods (ACH from a bank account, credit card for a 2.6% fee, payment to the Temple) and delivery options (eGift Cards, physical cards mailed to you or delivered with a Temple order):

   a) RaiseRight: www.raiseright.com

   b) United Scrip / ScripZone: www.scripzone.com 

Each site has different cards available with different rebate percentages, so it can make sense to compare the two sites.

Set Up Raise Right Online Account

If you would like order Scrip online through Raise Right, you will need to set up an account on raiseright.com:

1. Go to www.raiseright.com or click here: https://www.raiseright.com/enroll?enrollCode=8DBL34117186
2. Click Sign Up on the top right of the page. 
3. Enter 8DBL34117186 (the Temple Sholom enrollment code) in the Join a Scrip Program field.  
4. Click Join a Scrip Program blue button.
5. Then follow the instructions on the screen to create a user name and password.

You will then be able to place orders online.  You can pay for those orders by bringing a check or cash to the Temple office, paying by credit card or you can use PrestoPay to have the charges deducted directly from your bank account. 

Set Up PrestoPay ACH Debit for Raise Right Scrip

When you use PrestoPay, your order payment is transferred securely via ACH electronic debit.  There is a convenience fee of $0.29 per order when using PrestoPay.

Here is how to enroll in PrestoPay:

1. Select Account > Settings > Payment Options in your RaiseRight Dashboard.
2. Enter your bank account and account holder information.
3. Within 2-3 business days, two small amounts will be deposited in your bank account from Great Lakes Scrip Center. Record those amounts when you see them.
4. Sign onto www.raiseright.com, enter these amounts in your PrestoPay registration to verify the account, and choose a PIN number to use for online payment.
5. Once you complete the verification, you will see the approval code on that page. Provide that to your organization coordinator to approve you, and once approved by the coordinator, PrestoPay will be available as a payment option at checkout.

Set Up ScripZone / UnitedScrip Online Account

To register with United Scrip:

1. Visit scripzone.com and click New User. 
2. Create your account by entering a Username and Password and other required information and click Accept and Create User.  
3. Enter your name, address, and phone number and click Finish.
4. Entering Sholom and click Join Group. 

Once you register, you will be able to place orders!  Simply log in, select MyZone > MyOrders > New Order.  If you are paying by credit card, be sure to set that option on this screen.  Please remember though when paying by credit card, the rebate amount you receive will be less than if you pay by cash, check, or automatic deductions from your bank account. 

To see a list of retailers and percentages, select Retailer > Retailers by Denominations/Percentage.
