Online Scrip Ordering Information

You can offset a portion of your membership committment by participating in our SCRIP program.   SCRIP is a program whereby the Temple can purchase gift cards at a reduced rate.  You purchase these cards at face value.  The difference between the reduced rate and face value is what is credited to your account.   Here's how it works:

1. You were asked to complete a pledge card for 2019-20 that asked if you wanted to offset your membership commitment with profits from purchasing Scrip. You committed to an amount that would be offset by Scrip profit. Complete an enrollment form either before or when you make your first purchase indicating that you would like to offset your dues.   The portion of your dues you agreed to offset will then be deferred until the end of the year.  Whatever rebates you earned during the year will be deducted from your dues when your final bill comes due.  If you exceed the amount you committed to, you the excess rebates you earned will be considered a tax deductible donation to the temple.

2. Purchase in stock cards at the temple office anytime.  We carry Shoprite, Stop & Shop, ACME, Kings, Target, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, AMC Movie , Dunkin Donuts and Panera bread.

3. If you wish to order a card not in stock, visit shopwithscrip.com.  You can order the cards you like, bring cash or a check to the temple office.

4. If you prefer to use a credit card, visit www.scripzone.com.  If you use a credit card, your rebates will be reduced, so it's always better to use cash or a check, however, for those big projects where you prefer to use a credit card, this is a great option!

Still unclear?  Please feel free to direct any questions to our scrip coordinator either on Sunday mornings during religious school hours, or by email scrip@sholomnj.org.
