WOOO: Women On Our Own

Women On Our Own is a support and social group of single, divorced, or widowed, women who support each other in many ways. We drive each other to meetings, appointments, services, shopping, etc. We go to the theater, to movies, and other entertainment together. Pre-COVID, we gathered in person once a month to discuss many topics of interest ranging from politics, health, finance, family, literature, entertainment, and more. We hope to begin meeting in person again soon, but in the meantime, we Zoom every Sunday to catch up. We also get together once a month for lunch at a restaurant with outdoor dining.

Our group was so successful that our leadership was asked to make a presentation at a national meeting of reform congregations. 

We welcome any Temple member who would like to join us.
