Yom HaShoah Committee

This committee organizes and presents the annual Yom HaShoah and Kristallnacht programs, including inviting a Holocaust witness to speak about his or her experiences prior to a special Yom HaShoah liturgy. We meet to decide upon and invite the witnesses, as well as candle lighters and service readers whose lives, either as Holocaust refugees or surviving family members, were personally impacted by the Holocaust. Yom HaShoah is one of the most moving and meaningful services for the congregation, and we invite you to help us keep their blessed memories alive.
