Temple Sholom Sisterhood is a group of wonderful, diverse women of all ages. We invite you to join us and participate in our monthly activities and learning experiences -- from Sangria Night to cooking for charity to our book club, where we have engaging discussions (sometimes even with the authors!). Being a part of Sisterhood is a terrific way to meet other women in the congregation. New Temple Sholom members enjoy their first year of Sisterhood for free, which includes our fabulous end-of-year luncheon. Be a part of the action, make new friends, and have fun with us!
- Sisterhood Book Club: Wednesday, March 14, 7:30 p.m. at Linda Wolf's home. We'll be discussing Being Mortal, by Atul Gawande. This nonfiction book, written by a surgeon, addresses the author's belief that his ultimate goal is not a good death but a good life all the way to the end. Margaret Cohen will lead the discussion.
- Meatload Mania: Sunday, March 18, 2:00 p.m. at the Temple. Join us as we gather to make meatloaves for the Temple to distribute at St. John's Soup Kitchen. Not only will we be doing a mitzvah, but we'll also have a wonderful time doing it! Sisterhood will provide all of the ingredients and supplies.
