Temple Sholom Sisterhood is a group of wonderful, diverse women of all ages. We invite you to join us and participate in our monthly activities and learning experiences -- from Sangria Night to cooking for charity to our book club, where we have engaging discussions (sometimes even with the authors!). Being a part of Sisterhood is a terrific way to meet other women in the congregation. New Temple Sholom members enjoy their first year of Sisterhood for free, which includes our fabulous end-of-year luncheon. Be a part of the action, make new friends, and have fun with us!
- Sisterhood Book Club: Tuesday, November 27, 7:30 p.m. at the JCC of Central NJ. Sisterhood is proud to co-sponsor the JCC's "One Book, One Jewish Community Read" program this year. The program's first selection, Button Man by Andrew Gross, will also serve as our next book club selection. The book is equal parts historical thriller and family saga. We will join other community members at the JCC to hear the author speak. The cost is $20, either at the door or in advance at the JCC website. If you'd like to sit with other Sisterhood members, please RSVP to Lynda Goldschein (you can respond to one of her emails).
- Meatloaf Mania: Sunday, November 18, at the Temple Sholom kitchen. We'll be making meatloaves for St. John's soup kitchen. Sisterhood will supply the ingredients. This is always a fun, rewarding program. We hope to see you there!
