Sholom Chaverim - Temple Sholom's Community for Families with Young Children

“CHAVERIM” means “FRIENDS”

The name “Sholom Chaverim” reflects our belief that when children and their families come together for “age five and under” events at Temple Sholom, they truly become a community of friends.

Pray & Play

Once a month we join together for our flagship program, Pray & Play – an informal Shabbat experience geared toward birth through five-year-olds and their parents. Older siblings are always welcome. The morning incorporates music, storytelling, dance, and parachute-time to celebrate Shabbat together. After the worship experience, families join together for a bagel brunch, schmoozing, and free-play time. Pray & Play is free and open to all.
